This is a collection of songs conceptualised individually over a decade ago. The works were collated in August 2018. Releasing music publicly was a bucket list item, a mark to be left on a world Simon was eager to exit.
A human life is anger, pain and loneliness. With no Reason and no Why, this meaningless existence would be brought to an end. With just a few Loose Ends to tie up.
Seven unnamed ideas were dug up from the archives.
Jack Prest worked patiently with Simons non-commital approach and unavailability, to produce and polish pieces worthy of a listen. Jack collected together a handful of local talent to give life to moody melodies and brooding harmonies. Over the months Jack applied his years of experience, technical wizardry, mixed, polished, and even performed to produce a body of work of which to be proud.

 “My heart overflowed during the first listen of the finished product.
 These were MY compositions played by REAL players moving REAL airwaves. I felt something very real, very positive, incredibly deeply. I am excited to release this work in to the world”.
